Lucy Griffiths Online – http://lucy-griffiths.com
Subject: Lucy Griffiths, actress
Run with: Myself
Favourite role: Lady Marian, Robin Hood
Opened since: April 9, 2007
Why: I started the site on a whim because I was just getting into the first season of Robin Hood and really liked how Marian wasn’t your average heroine- neither cocky and tough nor seductive and ditzy. I also enjoyed finding information and images on a rather unknown actress. It is the only “fansite” about her on the web, aside from various groups and forums. It started off as an excuse to update on all things Robin Hood, but now I am a proper Lucy fan and can’t wait for her to get new, post-Robin Hood projects.

Rachel Hurd-Wood Web – http://rachelhurd-wood.org
Subject: Rachel Hurd-Wood, actress
Run with: Myself
Favourite role: Laura Richis, Perfume: Story of a Murderer
Opened since: November 1, 2007
Why: Because she stars in period films, which I love. I avoided Peter Pan and disliked her when that came out, so I was really surprised to see her in Perfume: Story of a Murderer, which was disturbing and strange but nonetheless interesting. I can’t wait to see Solomon Kane and Dorian Gray. I hope she continues acting.

Amelia Warner Web – http://amelia-warner.com
Subject: Amelia Warner, actress
Run with: Myself
Favourite role: Simone, Quills
Opened since: May 28, 2007
Why: To be quite honest, I started because I was bored after school ended and needed something to distract me from my job. It has been really fun, though, because, again, she is a bit unknown.

Keira Knightley Fan – http://keiraknightleyfan.com
Subject: Keira Knightley, actress
Run with: Laura
Favourite role: Lara, Doctor Zhivago/Guinevere, King Arthur
Opened since: n/a
Why: I joined this website because my other site, Keira Forever, was deleted. I was losing interest in running it by myself, though, because ever since I adopted it in May 2003, many other sites popped up and mine wasn’t getting as much attention anymore. As for my first site, I took over after seeing Princess of Thieves and Doctor Zhivago. I loved those two movies and couldn’t wait for the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie to arrive in theatres.

Adoring Natalie Portman – http://n-portman.org
Subject: Natalie Portman, actress
Run with: Laura
Favourite role: Novalee Nation, Where the Heart Is/Matilda, The Professional
Opened since: December 2007
Why: Natalie Portman is one of my favourite actresses. I really wanted to run a website on her because of the Other Boleyn Girl hype.

Long Ago Captures – http://longagocaptures.org
Subject: historical films and screencaps
Run with: Myself
Open since: August 8, 2006
Why: Because I love historical movies (well, some of them) to itty bitty bits. Even if a movie is terrible, the costumes and sets are good to look at (hence the screencaps). It gives me an excuse to update on certain movies and shows I’m excited about.

New layouts!

Hi all. Instead of thinking up new websites to do (which would be awful of me), I decided to go back to my other, lesser-known ones, and re-do them. I made a layout for Amelia Warner Web, but I am having problems with it. I also made a layout for Rachel Hurd-Wood Web. I honestly thought nothing new would appear about her, but a new photoshoot just surfaced (my goodness, little Wendy is… different now…) and I read parts of the script for Solomon Kane, which looks exciting. James Purefoy is the title character and I just got Rome season 1… BEST SHOW EVER. Rachel’s character is in a lot of it, which is good. Anyways, I am pretty much trying to plug that site as much as I can at the moment.

Katie McGrath

I bought a domain name yesterday (my second one ever!). I know nothing at all about this actress except that she may be Irish. But I am looking forward to a certain television show called Merlin. She will be playing one of my favorite legendary characters ever: Morgan le Fay. Helena Bonham Carter played her in the miniseries of the same name. Julianna Margulies played her in one of my favorites, The Mists of Avalon. I just bought a movie where Helen Mirren plays her. Anyways, I found out recently that Miss McGrath was in The Tudors. Not a flattering part, mind you (I am not much for the raunchiness that goes on in that show). Soooooo, [big breath], I hope the new Merlin and Morgana do not disappoint. I miss having a TV show person to update for. And it is so much more fun with unknown actors because finding something new is like finding gold or something. As much as I love Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman, a million other sites post the same things first. And Lucy Griffiths is not on Robin Hood anymore! I purchased the domain for this fall, when the show starts.

As for other my websites, Gertie kindly bought a domain name for Amelia-Warner.com. It has a redirect looping problem at present that I can’t seem to solve! I hope this girl gets some new roles soon. The Echo is it for the moment and I don’t like scary movies. And she has been mentioned lately in entertainment news only because she was married to Colin Farrell.

I just got back from watching the Battlestar Galactica miniseries. I’m really not sure what to think. I’ve never been one of science fiction… but I will probably download season 1 to see if it’s any good.

New blog

Hello. I decided to create a new blog for a number of reasons. Thought I should start clean- you know? Actually, my offline friends know about the other one, so I deleted it. So, here is to hoping my precious fangirl blog is kept secret this time around!
